ESN FINT - International Student Employability- Project

The core idea of the International Student Employability project was to improve job opportunities for international students in Tampere and help local companies to reach international talents. Originally, a team was formed to develop the ErasmusIntern platform by promoting it among potential employees. Тhe team contacted local companies to involve them in the participation of the project (i.e. to place their opportunities on ErasmusIntern platform or to participate in employability events). Тhe team implemented a research survey to identify real student experiences, pains and needs first hand. It allowed correcting project goals and tackling employability problems more effectively. However, after contacting several companies in Tampere, the team identified more opportunities in the field of international students employability in the offline space.

ESN Utrecht - Career Mixers- Programme

Career mixers consist of various events focused on the employability of international students in the Netherlands. Through informative fairs, workshops and dinners ESN Utrecht informed participants about the job market in the Netherlands, provided them with tools and taught them skills, as well as created an environment to get in contact with professionals and (international) alumni. Each of the mixers continue where the previous career mixer stopped in a creative successive programme. The aim of the career mixers is to get participants familiar with the Dutch job market and help them in the process of finding a job, as well as connecting them to alumni and professionals.
